The Sin Of Unbelief!

The Sin Of Unbelief

1Jn 5:1-21 KJV
(1) Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
(How do we know that we are loving the children of God?)
(2) “By this “we know that” we love the children of God”, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
(How do we know that God loves us?)
(3) “For this is the love of God”, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
For whatsoever is “born of God” overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
(3) (Born of God, not born of Christ. If we are born of God, we do not sin and we cannot sin because we are born of God! Our old Adam seed remaineth in us!
1 John 3:8-10
1Jn 3:8-10 KJV
(8) He that committeth sin “is of the devil”; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
(9) Whosoever is “born of God” doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
(Here’s how we can tell who is of the devil, and who is of God. The children of the devil sin! Them that have been born again of God the Father, do not sin!)
(10) In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: “whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother”.)

(5) Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
(6) This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
(7) For there are three that bear record “in heaven”, 1) the Father, 2)the Word, and 3) the Holy Ghost: “and these three are one”.
(8) (The three in Heaven are 1) the Father, who is Love, 2) The Word, who is Jesus Christ, and 3) The Holy Ghost, the resurrected Christ!)
(13) But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
(14) For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
(15) While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
(16) For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not(8) And there are three that bear witness “in earth”, 1)the Spirit, 2) and the water, 3) and the blood: and these three “agree in one”.
(9) If we receive the witness of men, “the witness of God is greater”: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
(10) He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: (Has the Holy Ghost!) “he that believeth not God hath made him a liar”; (Why?) because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
(11) And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. (Through keeping His commandments!)
(12) He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (Who is the Son? His Heavenly name is The Word of God!)
(13) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may “believe on the name” of the Son of God.
(14) And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
(15) And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
(16) If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
(17) “All unrighteousness is sin”: and there is a sin not unto death.
(18) We know that whosoever is “born of God sinneth not”; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
(19) And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
(20) And “we know” that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, “that we may know him” that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
(21) Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Heb 3:1-19 KJV
(1) Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, “consider” the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
(2) Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
(3) For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.
(4) For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
(5) And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, “as a servant”, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
(6) But Christ “as a son” over his own house; whose house are we, “if” we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end”.
(7) Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
(8) “Harden not your hearts”, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
(9) When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
(10) Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
(11) So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
(12) Take heed, brethren,(A warning to us!) lest there be in any of you “an evil heart of unbelief”, in departing from the living God. (What is it you do not believe in the Bible? Speaking in tongues? Demon? Forgiving? Bad monthing people? Etc.)

(13) But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
(14) For we are made partakers of Christ, “if” we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
(15) While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
(16) For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

(17) But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
(18) And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, “but to them that believed not”?
(19) So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Heb 4:1-16 KJV
(1) Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
(The “Rest of God, and the Sabbath of God begins with receiving the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues!)
(2) For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, “not being mixed with faith in them that heard it”
(Or, Because they did not believe all that God told them.)
(3) “For we which have believed do enter into rest”, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
(4) For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
(5) And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
(6) Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached “entered not in because of unbelief”:
(7) Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
(8) For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
(9) There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
(10) “For he that is entered into his rest”, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
(11) Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall “after the same example of unbelief”.
(12) For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
(13) Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
(14) Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
(15) For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
(16) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
