Why Prayer Is Ikportanr!

Why Prayer Is Important

James|4:1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
James|4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
James|4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
The above scripture tells us about what God expects of us concerning receiving from Him. “If” we have been revealed Gods plan, you have found out that we were born sinners and in us are three spiritual things that lay in out subconscious that we draw on and that leads us, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life.
(1 John|2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1 John|2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1 John|2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.)
If we never overcome these things, we will never come into the Kingdom of God. A person that is lead by his, or her lust, is self-centered and lives only for themselves and cannot give true love to others. They can neither receive the love of God because “they” are their own God.
In the book of 2 Peter chapter 1, we are told that through the knowledge of God and Jesus Christ, we have escaped the lust that is in us, and we are now free to walk in the divine nature that God wants for all of mankind. But all men are not willing to be regenerated, or changed. The mechanics of how sin works is in the book of James:
James|1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
James|1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. (The enticement comes from Satan!)
James|1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. The lust in us has to become one with the enticement before sin can conceive. Once it conceives, we have accepted a demon that we have allowed to be our spiritual guide in that area, and with the entrance of that demon, he has power to make our body sick in a given area, or to cause us to run into trouble, like divorce, murder, a car wreck. Our soul, body and spirit reacts to either truth, or, a lie. Our body was created perfect, but when sin entered into the world, it lost the power to live. The wages of sin is death. But the “gift of God is” eternal life “through” Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus Christ is the Word of God that is the truth that will set us free. Demons were created to judge men and women who don’t keep God’s commandments. God gave them this power, to kill, steal, and destroy.
Because this is “spiritual knowledge”, and we as “unspiritual beings, or carnal, cannot understand it. Jesus when he taught on the parable of the sower, told us that there are three unacceptable grounds that the seed can fall on. (The seed is the word of God.) The parable of the sower is a warning to the pure in heart, but to the person that does not have a pure heart, they will never see it as a warning and will fall into the snare of Satan.
What lust and pride produce is wars and fighting.
James|4:1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
James|4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. We are told here that we receive not because we ask not. When we are lead by our lust, we war in the natural against other people that are carnal themselves. The person that knows the truth has a circle of angels that will not allow demons to enter that circle.
(Psalms|91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalms|91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Psalms|91:3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
Psalms|91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Psalms|91:5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Psalms|91:6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
Psalms|91:7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Psalms|91:8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Psalms|91:9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
Psalms|91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
Psalms|91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
Psalms|91:12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Psalms|91:13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Psalms|91:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
Psalms|91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Psalms|91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.)
( Isaiah|35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
Isaiah|35:9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
Isaiah|35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to
Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.)
( Jeremiah|6:25 Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and fear is on every side. (This is the highway of holiness we are to walk on.)
When we walk in the Lords commandments we remove ourselves from the snares of the devil. We no longer war against flesh and blood, but against Satan and his demons as Jesus did. Jesus did not allow men to trap him in earthy battles because he knew behind every word spoken out of a non-believers mouth was a demon that was trying to get him to fail in what God the Father had appointed him to do. We are to beat our swords into plowshares, and our spears into prunninghooks when it comes to dealing with men in the flesh, but on the other hand, we are to pick-up our sword and fight against Satan in the spiritual realm.
Isaiah|2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into prunninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

James|4:1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
James|4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

Ye have not because you ask not. What is it you don’t have that you want from God? Is it healing? Is it wisdom? Understanding? Faith? Fellowship? A sound mind? The reason that we don’t ask God for things is, we don’t ask because we don’t believe that we can have them, or we don’t know what God has said.
It was said that in some places where he went, he could not heal but only a few sickly folk. It goes on to say that he could not heal them because of their unbelief. It also said that he “perceived” weather they had faith or not. If he perceived that they did not have faith, he knew that he was not to pray for them to be healed. On the other hand, there were people that knew the scriptures and were waiting to be healed.
(Matthew|13:53 And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.
Matthew|13:54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught
them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said,
Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
Matthew|13:55 Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
Matthew|13:56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
Matthew|13:57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
Matthew|13:58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.)
(Matthew|22:17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
Matthew|22:18 But Jesus “perceived their wickedness”, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?)
(Mark|2:1 And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and
it was noised that he was in the house.
Mark|2:2 And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.
Mark|2:3 And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.
Mark|2:4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.
Mark|2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
Mark|2:6 But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
Mark|2:7 Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?
Mark|2:8 And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
Mark|2:9 Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?
Mark|2:10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)
Mark|2:11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
Mark|2:12 And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.
(Luke|20:22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?
Luke|20:23 But “he perceived their craftiness”, and said unto them,
Why tempt ye me?)
We see people all around us everyday that need healing. They need a sound mind. They don’t have anything but trouble, but they refuse to search for the answer in Christ. They cry out to God and when God brings them the answer to their problem, they don’t want to hear what God has to say. They go away even worse off then before by the chose that they have made. God says:
Deuteronomy|30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
Deuteronomy|30:16 In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
Deuteronomy|30:17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
Deuteronomy|30:18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
Deuteronomy|30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: (Seed-children!)
Deuteronomy|30:20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
Coming over into the New Testament we are given the answer to why we are to keep the commandments that he has given us.
(1 John|5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when
we love God, and keep his commandments.
1 John|5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
1 John|5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and
this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

2 John|1:5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a
new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning,
that we love one another.
2 John|1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments.
This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye
should walk in it.

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

1 John|3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we
keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his
sight.
