On Being A Christian!

On being a Christian

I am a Christian. Many people think they are, but there’s more to being a Christian than just saying so. Many have asked Jesus into their heart, but because their heart was not right, or they were saved in a Church where Christ was not dwelling, their commitment to Jesus was half hearted. Can a person be saved when they don’t do it with all their heart? No, their not saved yet.
The plan of God is hidden from the person who has no heart in it. Most people can quota John 3:16, but they really can’t tell you the context of the whole chapter. In the first five verses of John chapter three, Jesus tells us about three born agains. The first is in verse three. Unless your born again, you cannot “see” the kingdom of heaven. What has to happen to a person at this point to be able to see the kingdom of God? As a person studies their Bible. They come to a place where Jesus tells us that there is a Holy Ghost. Some of the new translations has chanced the world Holy Ghost to the Holy Spirit. This is a trap of Satan to lead people astray. The true believer will not be fooled by this diversion. In John chapters 13 thru 17 Jesus goes into detail about the Holy Ghost and His purpose. The book of Acts will also bear record of this also. Paul the apostle tells us in 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 that the there is a reason that he did not use this wisdom that he had in man’s education to preach the gospel of Christ to us, but he stressed the reason that it is the power of the Holy Ghost that is important in our life to not only teach us and lead us, but that the power of God will reveal the glory of God through the signs and wonders that would happen when the gospel is preached. The gospel of the scribes and Pharisees is in the land today through the people who do not believe in the Holy Ghost, and the power of God. It tells us in 1 Corinthians 12:3 that no man can call Jesus Lord except by the Holy Ghost. How do you know that you have the Holy Ghost? In Mark 16 and all the way through the book of Acts it shows us that when you receive the Holy Ghost, you will speak in tongues. The debate will go on as long as there is man on the earth, but the proof is in the pudding, if you believe, you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
But in John chapter three. The second born again is the washing of the water of the word. Unless your born again of the water and the Spirit. The Second born again is having your mind renewed,. Romans 12:1-3 , by the renewing of your mind. Be not conformed to this world, Why? Ephesians four tells us why. We are carnal, or, not spiritual, and because of that, we are at war with God. The carnal mind loves the things that man can achieve in himself. The glory must be to God through Jesus Christ His Son. Not of works, so man can boast, but Jesus Christ must get the glory for all things done through the Spirit, and truth. God has this thing so cross referenced that there is no way that man could ever figure His plan out in his own mind. The Word of God was, made flesh. This is a revelation in it’s self. If Jesus’ name was the Word of God before He came to earth, isn’t it atill the Word of God now after his death? The things of God are so simple to them that God has revealed them, but it takes the Holy Ghost to make it simple. The second born again can only be revealed to you through you seeking God with ALL your heart, and than you must pray and fast to receive the truth of God’s Word. Once you receive a revelation of truth, you must prove it to yourself through the witnrss of two or three scriptures that say the same thing. Once you have the witness of two or three witnesses, than you have the truth to stand on. Once you have the truth, you have crossed over a line drawn by God, that you will not have to cross over again. The scripture in Psalms 138:2 tlls us that God has given all His glory to Jesus. The Holy Ghost will not speak of Himself, but will give all glory to Jesus Christ also telling us that Jesus must be lifted up, and if He is lifted up. He will draw all men unto Himself.
The third born again is to born again by the Spirit of the Father. When we have been born again of the Father, we will not sin. We will be perfect as the Father by the things that Jesus has taught us through the Holy Ghost. It tells us in 1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God, doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him and he cannot sin because he is born of God. It tells us in John 3:5 that once we are born again of the Father, we now have what it takes to enter into the Kingdom. Once we are born of the Spirit of God, we are now LOVE. God has totally consumed His temple. There is nothing in you now that the Devil can do, or condemn you with because, you have been consumed by the fire of God. You are now more Spirit than human. You have completed that which Christ died for, that you might be a son of God, join heirs with Christ. You no longer will speak anything out of your mouth that is not pleasing to God, and every action will bring forth signs and wonders in your life! In this place we are in we will see all them that are in the Spirit and their purpose in our life and in the lives of other believers. We will understand the deep things of God and we will know how these things work in our life.
